If I ask anyone on the street to list down Sarawak 1st team, for sure 99% of them will be failed. But if we ask them to list down Man Utd 1st team, they will go even to names the sub. It’s a shame for us.
We must fix this in order for Sarawak team to be a striking force as it should be. FAS must take the responsible to build a strong team.
For a start, each housing estate / long house must have their own club. This club can be categories such as under 6, 8, 10 and 12. They will train and given allowances. In the weekends, they will compete in a league against other club in the same district in their own category. After complete the league, the winner will represent their district to play against other district. Surely there will be a prize to be won in order to motivate them.
From this league, 5 years down the road, we will have a pool of talent to choose from to represent Sarawak in the M-League. If we are lucky enough, we will have a Ronaldo by then, playing not only for Sarawak, but the prestige EPL.

Batang Ai By-election: Where does we go from now?
Much have been done and talked since last month, and the result finally out. As predicted, BN won again at Batang Ai. In deed, it is a nice try by the PKR, but they have failed to capture the Iban people as they did in the other two by-elections. Millions of ‘Instant Noodle’ projects had been pouring into Batang Ai. What a generous BN when it comes to by-elections. Hopefully that the promises will be fulfilled.
As for the PKR or PR, they have lesson that they should be learned by now. The mentality of the Iban and Sarawakian towards ‘wakil rakyat’needed to be change. This is the changes that PR must instill in Sarawakian mindset if they want Uban to be toppled.
For older generation (aged 50 and above), ‘wakil rakyat’ is someone who is in power, just like a master, and the rakyat is the slave. That’s why when BN threaten the rakyat that there will be no development if they vote for opposition, they voted for BN eventually. This kind of mind set must change if PR wants a change in the government. Teach the rakyat who is ‘wakil rakyat’. Explain to them that a person that work for the rakyat just like a orang gaji. If your orang gaji don’t do their job as your request, then you will fire them. Same goes to the wakil rakyat. If they don’t perform, then they must be fired not voting for them in next election. To change, this must be change first. Not just follow Mr. Obama slogan without knowing what must be change first!
